Where can I get my car wrapped in The Hague?

Wrapmaster DH is a car wrapping service with its main workshop at Westvlietweg 72L in The Hague, close to the A4, A12 and A13 at the Ypenburg and Prins Clausplein interchanges, and a second location at Einsteinweg 2 in Delft. We do vinyl car wraps, paint protection film (PPF), wrap removal, window tinting and detailing. You can call, message or visit us in English.

Many of our customers are internationals: people working at an embassy, the International Criminal Court, Shell or TU Delft, often in the Netherlands for a few years. The questions are usually the same. Can the wrap come off before I leave? What is allowed with window tint here? Will the car still be accepted at the end of my lease?

This page answers those questions. For the full Dutch overview of our services, see carwrapping.

What our car wrapping service covers

  • Full colour change. A vinyl car wrap that changes the colour of the whole car, in gloss, satin, matte or special finishes.
  • Partial wraps. Roof, bonnet, mirrors or a chrome delete of window trims and badges.
  • Paint protection film. Clear, thicker, self-healing film that protects the original paint against stone chips. See PPF.
  • Wrap removal. Taking off an existing wrap, ours or someone else's, and cleaning off adhesive residue.
  • Window and light tinting. Tinted rear windows and tinted lights.

We do not respray cars. Everything we do is film, which means it is reversible and your original paint stays untouched.

Film brands and wrap installation

We work with cast premium film from 3M, Avery Dennison, Hexis and KPMF. Cast film stretches into curves without shrinking back, which is what keeps edges and recesses tight for years. With normal use and care, a premium wrap lasts around five to seven years.

A good wrap installation depends on preparation. We clean and degrease every panel and remove parts such as door handles, badges or light units where needed, so the film can be wrapped around the edges instead of stopping at a visible line.

PPF or a wrap: which one do you need?

A wrap is for changing the look of your car. PPF is for protecting the paint you already have. PPF is clear, much thicker than a colour wrap and self-healing against light scratches, and it lasts five to ten years. A colour wrap also protects the paint underneath, but it is thinner and will not stop a hard stone chip.

If you lease a new car for a few years, PPF on the front bumper, bonnet and mirrors is a common choice to avoid damage charges when you return it. Want both a new colour and protection? Coloured PPF is an option too. Our PPF in The Hague page explains more.

Car wrap removal before you leave the Netherlands

Moving back home or returning a lease car? A premium wrap comes off cleanly with heat, and we remove any glue left behind. The paint underneath has been protected and often looks better than unwrapped panels. Cheap film is a different story: it tends to crack and leave adhesive, which takes far more hours. The price of removal depends on the film and its age and is on request. Plan it a few weeks before your departure or lease return. See also wrap removal.

Window tinting, pricing and getting a quote in English

Car tinting in DH follows Dutch rules: the windscreen and front side windows are restricted, the rear windows are much more flexible. If your car was tinted abroad, it may not meet the Dutch rules. Read window tinting rules or see our window tinting service.

On price: partial wraps start from a few hundred euros, and a full colour change wrap of an average passenger car typically costs between 1,800 and 3,500 euros. PPF and wrap removal are on request. The cost page explains what drives the price.

  • Send the make, model and year of your car, plus photos, via the quote form. You can write in English.

  • Opening hours: Monday to Friday 09:00 to 18:00, Saturday 10:00 to 18:00, closed on Sunday.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a car wrapping service near me in The Hague?

Yes. Our main workshop is at Westvlietweg 72L, 2495 AA The Hague, next to the A4 near the Ypenburg interchange. Our second location is at Einsteinweg 2, 2627 BN Delft.

How much does a vinyl car wrap cost in the Netherlands?

At Wrapmaster DH a full colour change wrap of an average passenger car typically costs between 1,800 and 3,500 euros, depending on the car, the film and the amount of disassembly. Partial wraps start from a few hundred euros. You get an exact quote beforehand.

Can you remove a car wrap that was installed somewhere else?

Yes. We remove wraps from other installers too. How long it takes depends on the quality and age of the film and how much adhesive stays behind.

Can I communicate with you in English?

Yes. Advice, quotes and invoices can all be handled in English, by phone, email at info@wrapmasterdh.nl or WhatsApp.

Should I choose PPF or a wrap for my lease car?

If you want to avoid damage charges, PPF on the front of the car protects the original paint against stone chips. If you want a different colour, choose a wrap and plan its removal before you return the car.

Is window tint from abroad legal in the Netherlands?

Not always. Dutch rules restrict tint on the windscreen and front side windows. Check our page on window tinting rules or ask us to take a look.
